AFRIQUE PROSPERE EDUCATION recognizes that immigrant professionals need more than training and coaching. Foreign-born professionals need: (1) to build new relationships, (2) learn and adapt to the culture of the United States and (3) find sponsors and lifters to support them during the transition in the US corporate world. Our mentoring program pairs immigrant professionals with seasoned and sometimes Native Americans to facilitate networking and professional integration.
Mentors provide more than just ears. They share their experiences, open up their networks, and help immigrant professionals expand their knowledge of the complex work environment. Immigrant professionals are paired up with a mentor once they graduate from their training. Mentoring is provided by a network of volunteers who have benefited from AFRIQUE PROSPERE EDUCATION’s services or bring their own experiences to the table to help advance our mission.
Mentorship will not end until the immigrant professional has secured a job according to his goals set at the beginning of the program. Mentoring is provided through the Coaching Loft platform.
